I said this on our Percy Jackson site, but if Nathan Fillion‘s in it, it must be good!  And here’s a clip from Monsters University, in which Nathan Fillion voices a character named Johnny Worthington, an upper classman who has his eyes on a certain monster for his frat, Roar Omega Roar.

Art From Pixar’s Upcoming Releases

Check out these pretty neat pieces of art Comingsoon.net received from Pixar Animation Studios!

The first artwork is for Monsters University and is art we have seen before. The anticipated prequel, featuring the voices of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray and Peter Sohn, hits theaters on June 21, 2013.

 

Next up was art for the company’s May 30, 2014 release, The Good Dinosaur, directed by Bob Peterson. The film is described as follows: What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?

 

Then came art for director Pete Docter’s Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside the Mind. The June 19, 2015 release is described as follows: From director Pete Docter (“Up,” “Monsters, Inc.”) and producer Jonas Rivera (“Up”), the inventive new film will take you to a place that everyone knows, but no one has ever seen: the world inside the human mind.

 

And finally was The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dia de los Muertos. The 2016 release is described as follows: From director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson, the filmmaking team behind the Academy Award®-winning “Toy Story 3,” comes a wholly original Pixar Animation Studios film that delves into the vibrant holiday of Día de los Muertos.

‘Monsters University’: Two New Stills

Pixar has released two new stills from the upcoming Monsters University, showing Mike and Sully having a little fun in their glory days!

“This is roughly around the time Mike and Sulley meet,” says director Dan Scanlon, who made the Cars short Mater and the Ghostlight. “They’re at a fraternity party, and this is Mike and Sulley getting off on the wrong foot a little bit.”

“We get to show off their differences,” said Monsters University producer Kori Rae. “They both approach life in different ways. Mike is the go-getter type, anything is possible, and he’s the super-hard worker. Sulley is different because he’s a great scarer, he has this natural ability, but Mike has to work for it.”
